Cherokee High School vs Sequoyah High School
150 162

Sequoyah looks to improve and battle for second place in the county this year. One of their competitors will be Cherokee, and the Warriors showed they also are improved. Both teams put up some great scores Tuesday, but Cherokee had a few more and topped the Chiefs in a 9 hole match at Bradshaw Farm. Garrett Armbrust (FR) who finished low man against Lassiter last week posted another good score at 39, and Thomas Brumbeloe (SR) carded a 38 for low Chief Tuesday. Joseph Trlica (JR) also shot 39, and Brock O’Connor (JR) and Collier Pecht (SR) each carded a 46 to tie for the final counting score. Ryan Wakefield (SR) was just a stroke behind.
The Chiefs get another chance at the Warriors next Monday at the Canton Golf Club at 4:00. Come out and support the boys. Canton is an easy course to walk.
