Boys Varsity Basketball · Chiefs look for revenge against South Cobb

The Sequoyah Chiefs basketball team is hosting the South Cobb Eagles on Tuesday, Jan. 14th in the War Lodge. South Cobb won the matchup earlier this season, 78-68.  

Last season, South Cobb swept the season series 3-0, winning by an average of 11 points.  

South Cobb is currently first in the region with a record of 11-0, with a total record of 18-1. The Chiefs trail the Eagles in second place in the region with an 8-2 region record and a 14-4 overall record. The Chiefs have won 9 in a row, and the Eagles have won 17 straight games, with their only loss coming from Mceachern, the 5th ranked team in the state.  

The Chiefs are ranked 26th in the state and 660th in the nation. The Eagles are ranked 6th in the state and 147th in the nation.  

The Eagles have put up 1267 points and have given up 943 points. The Chiefs have scored 1331 points and let up 1128 points.  

Come out and support the Chiefs as they face off against the South Cobb Eagles and try to extend their winning streak to 10 games. The theme of the game is USA.
